Jack was stunned. He tried to protest, saying Leo was family and belonged there — but then he saw the hurt in his nephew’s eyes when he heard the cruel comments. Leo quietly asked, “Did I do something wrong?” And that broke Jack’s heart.
Before things could blow up, Emily stepped forward — her voice firm and fearless. She asked her parents if they were really asking her husband to kick out a child at their wedding. Every guest fell silent.
